David Gottfried, LEED AP

David Gottfried is the founder of the U.S. Green Building Council and the World Green Building Council, the foremost green building organizations in the world with green building councils in 90 countries. David was an early pioneer of green buildings and wrote the White Paper on LEED in 1993. He is the CEO of Regenerative Ventures and Regenerative Network, and the author of Greed to Green and Greening My Life. He speaks internationally on various topics related to Green Building, CleanTech, and Green Life. He graduated from Stanford University and serves on their Real Estate Advisory Council and Board of Governors. His book, Greening My Life has a chapter featuring his green renovation.

Sara Gottfried, MD

Dr. Sara Gottfried, M.D., is the Founder & Medical Director of the Gottfried Center for Integrative Medicine and a national thought leader in the areas of hormonal balance, PMS and menopause.  She has a special interest in how the built environment can support both hormonal and neurotransmitter health. Dr. Gottfried graduated from Harvard Medical School and served her Obstetrics/Gynecology residency at U.C. San Francisco. She is also a certified yoga instructor and student of ancient healing systems such as yoga and Ayurveda. She is writing a book entitled: The Hormone Cure, to be published by Simon & Schuster in 2013.
